TSA Precheck & Global Entry, Are They Worth It?

The post discusses the benefits of TSA Precheck and Global Entry statuses for frequent travelers. TSA Precheck simplifies security procedures within the U.S., saving time and hassle. Meanwhile, Global Entry facilitates faster processing through Customs when returning to the U.S. from abroad and includes TSA Precheck. Both statuses have a validity of five years. Application processes for both are described, with Global Entry process being lengthier. TSA Precheck costs $80 while Global Entry is priced at $100. However, certain credit cards offer cover for these fees. Whilst the programs have occasional inconveniences, they largely benefit regular travelers.

Weekend Trip Travel Guide to Salem, MA

In the spirit (no pun intended) of one of the United States’ most celebrated holidays (and my own favorite holiday), I thought it would be a treat to kick off my first post of the U.S. with the biggest Halloween city on the east coast, Salem, Massachusetts. Although I had only spent a day trip in Salem, I will be highlighting the must- see shops, where to stay if you choose to spend the weekend, and all the paranormal attractions you can discover (if you dare) while visiting the town.

Perfect Travel Guide for Rhodes, Greece

Rhodes is one of the top four biggest islands in Greece, filled with cities, beaches, forests, and miles of land to explore. It is also a great destination to visit in the Aegean Sea to get away from the crowds of the Cyclades Islands.

Airline Lounges, United Club

There are two types of travelers: those who run to their gate trying not to miss their flight, or those who get to their gate to make sure it exists and walk the terminal aimlessly. From wandering through shops, paying a particular amount for food and drinks at a restaurant, trying to find an outlet to charge your phone, or being frustrated trying to find a seat at your gate, most people (including myself) dislike the time between clearing security and waiting to board your plane. This past summer was my first experience in an airline lounge. I was able to use the perks of my airline credit and boy was I missing out all these years.

Travel Guide for Lemnos, Greece: A Hidden Gem (UPDATED 2025)

Lemnos has a very special place in my heart as it is the island where my dad grew up and where some of my family currently resides. From when we were little toddlers until grown adults, my Yiayia (grandma in Greek), would make my sister and I home cooked meals, take us to the port for a swim, and walk the Agora to shop. In a way it was a second home to us, especially when we were able to stay in our dad’s childhood home. Being the ninth biggest island in Greece, there is a lot of ground to cover for sightseeing in Lemnos. From fresh seafood, soft sand beaches, windsurfing, local shops, and natural land formations, there is nothing this island doesn’t have to offer.

Travel Guide for Ios, Greece: The Other Party Island

hen traveling to Ios we did not expect to find an island as cool as Mykonos for half the price. My family and I had so much fun visiting Ios in 2016, that we came back a second time in 2019 to explore more of the island and of course, check out all of the nightlife. Taking the ferry is the only way to travel to Ios, which is why I believe it is one of the best gate kept islands in the Cyclades.
